Q. What size bag do I need?
A. There are three sizes available: Small 41 x 54cm, Large 58 x 75cm and Jumbo 75 x 80cm.
Small: Ideal for washing smaller items.
Large: For medium size items.
Jumbo: For larger items...please remember items need room to move around inside the bag to wash correctly, and if your item won't already fit in your washing machine then it's too big to wash yourself and you will need it professionally cleaned.
Q. My washing machine has a standard 6kg drum, which wash-bag will I need?
A. Either the small, large or jumbo wash-bag are suitable for a 6kg drum.
Q. Will I be able to put my 6ft 9" fly sheet in the wash-bag?
A. Yes, that size of sheet will fit in either the large or jumbo horsewear wash-bag.
Q. Can I wash more than one item together at the same time?
A. Yes you can put items together inside the bag or wash hair covered items in the bag and other items loose in the washing machine. Do not overload, items need room to move around to wash correctly.
Q. What washing powder do I need?
A. It's fine to use your usual washing detergent, but for best results we recommend using a liquid detergent directly inside the bag.
Q. What temperature should I wash at?
A. Follow the manufactures washing instructions for the item being washed. If not known wash at 40 degrees. The maximum temperature we recommend is 60 degrees.
Q. How do I dry my items after using the Wash-Bag?
A. Dry items as normal, hang to dry or tumble dry inside the bag.
Q. Can I put the bag into my tumble dryer?
A. Yes, the wash-bag can be tumble dried with the item still inside. Use the high heat setting.
Q. Can I put a white items inside a coloured wash-bag?
A. Yes you can! and don't worry about it. The orange colour of the wash-bag will not discolour the item being washed.
Q. My item is covered in mud, can I put them straight into the bag?
A. We recommend removing as much dirt and hair as possible from items before washing. We also recommend that very dirty items be washed separately.
Q. Can I wash items with velcro closures?
A. Pet hair is attracted to velcro, make sure the velcro tabs are closed together during the wash. Also make sure that you shake the loose hair out of the wash-bag after every wash.
